Cochin Shipyard Recruitment 2022: Cochin Shipyard Ltd (CSL) is inviting Applications for Graduate Apprentices and Technician (Diploma) Apprentices. Graduate Apprentices include the post of Electrical Engg, Mechanical Engg, Electronics Engg, Civil Engg, Computer Engineering, Safety Engg, Marin Engg, Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding and Technician (Diploma) Apprentices include the post of Electrical Engg. Mechanical Engg. Electronics Engg, Instrumentation Engg, Civil Engg, Computer Engg, Commercial Practice Posts in the Cochin Shipyard Ltd.
Interested Candidates are first required to register in the web portal of NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) through the link for enrollment/registration as apprentices.

Category-II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices
1. Electrical Engg. – 14
2. Mechanical Engg. – 20
3. Electronics Engg. – 07
4. Instrumentation Engg. – 04
5. Civil Engg. – 10
6. Computer Engg. – 05
7. Commercial Practice. – 10
1- Category -I Graduate Apprentices – Rs. 12000
2- Category-II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices – Rs.10200
1. Category – I Graduate Apprentices
i) A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University in a relevant discipline.
ii) A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in a relevant discipline.
iii) Graduate examination of Professional bodies recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to the above.
iv) Some Universities/Institutes/Examination Boards do not award Classes or Percentages of marks and allot Aggregate Grade Points (e.g. CGPA/OGPA/CPI, etc.). In case University/Institute/Examination Board defines criteria for conversion of Aggregate Grade Point into Class and/or percentage of marks, the same shall be accepted. However, where the University/ Institute/ Examination does not define criteria for conversion of Aggregate Grade Points into Class and/or percentage of marks, the Aggregate Grade Points shall be multiplied by 10 to get the required percentage of marks.
2. Category – II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices
i) A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in a relevant discipline.
ii) A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in a relevant discipline.
iii) A Diploma in Engineering and Technology granted by an Institution recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to the above.
