About the opportunity
The School of Biomedical Engineering and School of Computer Science in the Faculty of Engineering at The University of Sydney has recently established new research areas in water quality modeling and sensing, water safety and treatment, data science, and artificial intelligence or machine learning methods to predict and understand water quality parameters. The Faculty of Engineering has also set up Digital Science Initiative (DSI) to undertake research in both fundamental digital sciences and applied digital technologies.
We are currently seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work on areas such as integrated optics chip, waveguide sensors, optical sensors, silicon photonics, and optical sensing device fabrication in water quality sensing of contaminants.
