Two youth nabbed for cyberstalking students – Ahmedabad Mirror

Two men were arrested by the Cybercrime cell for cyberstalking two college students whom they had befriended on social media. The men began to stalk the girls after they rejected their advances.
The two students then separately approached the cop and the two men were arrested. In the first case, Ajubha Parmar, 22, a computer engineering graduate from Surendranagar befriended a girl, a resident of Amraiwadi on Instagram. The girl is a college student in Ahmedabad and Parmar was smitten with her. He told her that he liked her and as he began to pursue her she rejected his advances and cut off all ties with him.
Parmar got irritated and in a fit of rage subjected the woman to cyberstalking. He created several Instagram profiles and would send abusive and indecent messages to the girl.
In another case, Vatva resident Jash Verma (21) befriended a computer science student over social media. He began to harass her on Snapchat and Whatsapp after she rejected his advances.
