Duane Carver Jr. and Kyle Morse have joined BakerHostetler as intellectual property counsels in Dallas and New York, respectively, the firm announced Tuesday.
The lawyers are also part of the firm’s electrical, mechanical, and computer science prosecution team.
Carver focuses on US and foreign patent protection for companies, according to BakerHostetler. He specializes in computer engineering and software patents, the firm said.
Morse focuses on preparing and prosecuting patent applications involving software technologies such as human-machine interaction, operating systems, and extended reality, BakerHostetler said.
