Power Grid Recruitment 2022: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, a Maharatna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India and one of the largest Transmission Utilities in the World, is engaged in the power transmission business with the mandate for planning, co-ordination, supervision and control over complete Inter-State Transmission System.
Power Grid is hiring Fresh, Bright, Committed and Energetic Engineering Graduates for Executive positions as Engineer Trainees- 2023 tentatively in Electrical/ Electronics/ Civil/ Computer Science disciplines through GATE-2023. The upper age limit is 28 years as on 31.12.2022.
Note: Final Year / Semester students who expect their final results by 14.08.2023 are also eligible to apply, provided they have obtained a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate of all semesters/years up to the pre-final examination. In case of selection, their candidature shall be subject to their securing a minimum of 60% marks in essential qualifications.

The selection process includes a group discussion, a personal interview, and the marks earned (out of 100) on the equivalent GATE 2023 exam.
Candidates who meet the requirements must take the relevant GATE 2023 exam, which includes Electrical Engineering (EE), Electronics and Communication (EC), Civil Engineering (CE), and Computer Science Engineering (CS).
Only those candidates who passed the applicable GATE 2023 exam will be considered for the next round of hiring. The conducting authority for GATE 2023 will determine the qualifying marks.
Based on their normalized marks out of 100 in GATE 2023, in the relevant paper, qualified applicants will be shortlisted category-wise for Group Discussion & Personal Interview.
Candidates may participate in the GD/Interview in either Hindi or English.
Using their login credentials at the POWERGRID Online Application System, candidates can check their status. Through the candidate login, shortlisted candidates can get their interview call letter and other pertinent papers.
