The directors of research projects at Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology received their honourarium and certificates at a function in the conference room on the campus on Tuesday.
Honourarium for publishing journals also were handed over to the project directors at the programme organised by the office of the Director Research and Extension, said a press release.
RUET research and extension department director Md Faruq Hossain presided over the programme graced by vice-chancellor Md Rafiqul Islam Sheikh as chief guest.
Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering dean Md Nazrul Islam Mandal, Faculty of Civil Engineering dean Md Niamul Bari, Faculty of Applied Sciences and Humanities dean Md Sajjad Hossain and registrar (acting) Md Selim Hossain were present as special guests on the occasion.
The programme was conducted by Md Raisul Islam Rose, officer of the Research and Extension Department.
Mentionable, the directors of research projects carried out under RUET from FY 2010-2011 to FY 2020-2021 have been brought under honorarium and certificates.
